Welcome... this is Dorothy!
The spark for this month was ignited when I recently received a friend's newsletter. He had attached an inspirational video link that personally spoke so clearly I wanted to share it with you. It was a presentation by Simon Sinek on How Great Leaders Inspired. My friend is Nathen Aswell, a gentle soul and a gifted spiritual musician. At the end of this message I've included his website, and the video link he provided.
Here are the highlights:
Simon referred to a golden circle, made up of three parts. He named the small inner centre "Why", the next one was "How" and the outer circle was "What". He said the pattern of communication which all inspired leaders used, was from the inside out, contrary to almost everyone else. These inspired individuals knew why they did what they did, not from the profit or dollar aspect, but from an inner and enlightened purpose.
This led me on a personal thinking journey, that so often I have known what I did, and how to do it, but the why has not always satisfied my spiritual appetite. I share these thoughts with you for your contemplation. Perhaps if we start with the "why", the "how" and the "what" will flow with ease. A Course in Miracles reminds us: "We are all teachers, and what we teach is what we learn, and so we teach it over and over again until we learn..."
Have a beautiful July, enjoy the long summer evenings. Please do check out the website links listed below.
Until next time... this is Dorothy... Namasté.
